Goodbye Christmas Tree!

It's almost the middle of January. It's well past time to take down our christmas tree.

But let me tell you... it was a pain in the butt to put up. This is a nine foot tall tree that we spent about 3 hours, just putting the tree together. And that's not counting the additional 5 hours that we spent decorating the tree the next day.

So I figured that I was going to get as much use out of this tree as possible.

I think that Shelby will be mad at me, because by taking the tree down, I am taking away her hiding spot! When the boys are chasing her, she runs up the tree to hide.

A part of me is sad, to take the tree down. But I always am really happy to get out all of the christmas decorations, the following christmas. So Goodbye Christmas Tree... until next Christmas!
