My clothes have a weight?!!!

Okay, I know that I should just stay away from the scale during the week, so I don't get frusterated my weight fluctuations. But I can't help it.

I always weigh myself in the morning, in my nightgown. And I did today again too. I was down another 1 1/2 lbs. I was really excited & then I got dressed & just wanted to make sure that I had read the scale correctly. Then I was up a litte. I discovered that my jeans & shirt weigh 2 lbs! TWO!!! I wonder if they will let me weigh in naked at my next weight watchers meeting?

woohoo...naked weigh ins!!! :)

I actually used to weigh my clothes before hand and choose the lowest weight clothing for weigh in day. Now I just wear the same things every week so I'm consistant. The 2 lbs that your clothes weigh won't make a huge difference in the long run.

Uh-oh! That could be a really scary sight! I guess I should have specified that I am alone on my naked weigh-in! And then report my weight to them.

I know that that 2 pounds aren't going to make a difference... but it was a shock to me that my clothes weighed that much!

That is a really good idea to always where the same thing. I will remember that! :)

Heck, 2lb's is what my work shoes weigh. Then when you throw in suit and/or tie, it's another 3-4. I always tell my members to throw away their scales at home. It's the one at WW that counts. Plus your weight can fluctuate 5lbs in any direction during the day.
