The First Snowfall

It was the first significant snowfall of the winter. We only got an inch of snow & temperature in the twenties, but this is how our mailbox faired.

Luckily for the poor mailbox, my husband was able to get it back up & standing straight again.

On the brighter side of things: I can't wait to get all bundled up & take the kids out, to play in the snow. My oldest son doens't like walking on new things. Dalton didn't like walking on grass, but he got over it. He didn't like walking on sand, but he was getting better at it (a good thing too, since we are going to Kauai in less than three weeks now.) Dalton came downstairs, this morning & said "Is that 'no out there?" And then "I want to go build a 'no-man out there!" So hopefully, it will go well & he will have a good time.

I am going to go out & teach my boys how to build a snowman, er... 'no-man!
