My time away from home

One thing that I realized last night, after I got home from my weight watchers meeting, is that I enjoyed a moment all to myself. And I didn't feel guilty for taking that time for me. I was glad to come home to my family. And the boys were glad to see me, which was really nice. Lately, since I am the more strict one in the family, my children have been favoring my husband over me. I try not to let it bother me, but it does. And yesterday, both boys came running, when I came in the door.

I think that, not only will these meetings be beneficial to my weight loss, but also to my sanity.

This experience will help me get healthier, mind and body!

Good for you taking time for yourself. As a mom of a 4 and almost 2 year old, it is VITALLY important that I make time to recharge my batteries (usually by running, working out, or going to a good bookstore to browse). Keep up the good work. Weight watchers is a great program if you work it. You might also want to check out the book I blogged about yesterday, Intuitive Eating by Tribole and Resch. Thanks for the comment on my blog!
