What kind of cravings do you have? Salty or sweet?
I generally don't really crave either that often, but when I do, it's either & it's a really strong craving.
Today, I went to my brother's all day swim meet. There were lots of opportunities for me to stumble & fall. The vending machines & concession stand are just Oh-So-Tempting. But I knew what to expect, so I went prepared. I brought fresh fruit & also sandwiches for lunch for all of us. And I sat there & just about drooled on every single person that walked by with a soft pretzel with cheese sauce. My mom pointed out that one probably wasn't bad, so I checked & sure enough... one was only 3 points & I figured that if I chose cheese sauce, that would be another point. So I allowed myself this tasty snack & then I was fine for the rest of the meet. I didn't care that other people had it. I didn't feel deprived. And best of all: I didn't use any of my flex points or activity points.
Happy dance time!
Also... anyone have any idea what the intensity level for weight machines are? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't count points for weights training. It's pretty much low intensity, with some boosting maybe into medium, but unless you're circuit training and only taking 1 minute breaks, it wouldn't be worth counting...at least in my opinion...maybe Brian can weigh in on this topic. You really need to get a heart rate monitor, that way you can check what level you work out at whatever you're doing.
I actually looked for a heart rate monitor & couldn't find one at Dicks Sporting Goods.
I was checking out the etools on weightwatchers.com & found the section on activity points. You can type in your activity & duration & it will tell you how many activity points you earned.
heart rate is still a more accurate indicator of intensity. I got mine at Target.
I think you need to YouTube the Happy Dance. Then, we can all weigh in on how many activity points you earn when you do it :) Sorry...I'm of no help on this one. I can crave it all, sweet and salty. WW recently came out with some new 2 point bars that are called just that, Sweet and Salty and they are oh so good. I normally hate 2 point bars for a number of reasons. Mostly because they are gross but also I think a granola bar (also 2 points) is a better deal money wise. However, the Sweet and Salty 2 point bars might be my big weakness...
I will consider youtubing the happy dance (OMG... I just turned "youtube" into a verb)
Andi, if you have a sweet tooth, the Weight Watchers chocolate cake is only 1 point & it's really good. A little dry, but it can satisfy a sweet tooth & won't kill my points.
